RSCM Voices is a choir which sings services, concerts and undertakes training and learning opportunities to a very high musical standard in Cathedrals,

major churches and other venues across the southern half of England.

Rather than being one fixed group, RSCM Voices draws from a pool of auditioned members for each of its musical commitments.

The choir may sing as a full mixed choir, boys and men, upper voices or as a chamber choir.

Configuration of the choir for each of its performance opportunities may be dictated by availability, venue and so forth.
RSCM Voices is directed by Peter Futcher and has evolved from the earlier Southern Cathedral Singers and will continue and develop this work.

The RSCM Millennium Youth Choir is an exciting chamber choir, founded in 2000 at the suggestion of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Membership of the RSCM Millennium Youth Choir offers special opportunities to young singers aged between 16-23 years

to sing the widest and most exciting range of sacred music to the highest standards.

Residential courses are held during school and university holidays, and include individual musical and vocal tuition,

as well as participation in services and performance in public concerts.

RSCM Residential Courses

The RSCM is well-known for its courses for young people, incorporating the ever-popular ingredients of a broad range of choral repertoire, vocal development, fun and friendship.

These courses are an ideal complement to the Voice for Life programme, and build upon the training that choristers receive in their own choirs.

Cathedral courses offer the chance to sing daily evensong and Sunday services in some of England’s finest cathedrals.

Most participants are members of the RSCM Voices or Cathedral Singers, but all are welcome to apply.

The singing is to a high standard, led by distinguished directors and experienced staff, so all singers must be willing to audition for a place on the course.
