Laudate

Who are we?

A group of musicians of all ages who help lead the worship for informal services.

When do we play?

Storyteller services on the first Sunday of each month at 11.15am.

How do I get involved?

Come to one of the services and talk to Rosemary Read afterwards.

Bell Ringers

St Mary's has a fine ring of ten bells (tenor 29cwt) which dates from 1762.

The bells are rung on Sundays from 8.50am to 9.30am before the Sung Communion and from 5.50pm to 6.30pm before Evensong.

Practice night is on Monday from 7.30pm to 9.00pm. Visiting ringers are most welcome. New recruits are encouraged and trained as required.

For further information, contact the Ringing Master, John McCutcheon.

St Mary’s Orchestra

This is a group of musicians of all ages who play for occasional services - particularly Christingle, Mothering Sunday, Harvest and the Christmas Eve Crib services.

If you are interested in being involved please contact Rosemary Read.
